This weekend sees the 2011 edition of the Race of Champions return to the Esprit Arena in Düsseldorf for the 2nd successive year but the best part is that it’ll be live on SuperSport. Saturday’s Nations Cup will be broadcast live on SuperSport 6 from 20:00 – 23:00 with a repeat on Sunday from 12:15 – 15:00 followed by live coverage of the Individual Competition from 15:00-18:00, Sunday’s coverage will be on SuperSport HD2 🙂

I’m often finding myself going through the collection of Hot Wheels at the shops with my son, with me showing him the one’s I’d be interested in and with him wanting to see the ones that look like some kind of insect. He ends up with his choice of 3 or 4 with me holding onto one or two deciding if it’s childish for me to want a couple for myself, I end up putting them back with a little bit of hesitation. This brings me to one car I won’t give a second thought about buying and putting on a shelf out of the reach of my son, the Hot Wheels Hakosuka… let the hunt begin…

Photofreak (me ;)) stopped in at the Wrapmaster/Cool Bananas park-off today to bring you some of the what goes down when petrol heads come out to play. With plenty of hot cars and hot ladies in attendance it seemed like mother nature was feeling a little left out so she decided to bring a little heat of her own…
Well, lets start with the good news. It looks like Luc (Pantera Racing) is finished with piping for Ralph’s beast so we’re that much closer to seeing if one man can single-handedly change the rotational speed of the Earth. Hopefully we’ll get to see this beast run at Killarney a couple of times before it makes it’s probable move up country
and now onto the bad news… Marlize had a coming together with an old lady this week. All the best in getting your baby back on the road (and track) as soon as possible Marlize
I’m not much of a bike person (mostly because my wife won’t let me go near one :cry:) but there is just something about a Ducati and the 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale looks like it’s going to be a beast of note. 145kw and with a dry weight of only 164 kg, it’s going to fuk off
For those Top Gear nuts that can’t wait till the next season for their fix, there’s a new DVD out on the 14th of November… “Top Gear at the Movies”… sadly without Clarkson though
