10-08-29 Killarney Track Day
No speed cameras, no cops & no speed limit, that’s what track days are about. Throw in the company of friends and the result is a fun Sunday afternoon.

Close Call
Standing on the inside of the oval I see the BMW taking the corner sideways but I expect that he’ll hold the drift, correct & continue on his way. As it turns out, not the case. The BMW decides to do a little bit of farming about a meter or so from where I’m standing. Needless to say, my heart was beating a little faster after that.

10-08-07 Kenilworth Karting 12hr Enduro
Meeting place: Kenilworth Karting
Start Time: 10pm
Starting out at night seems to be the usual way of starting a journey, nothing unusual there. The road may have been a little more unusual, this being the 310m lap of the Kenilworth Karting circuit and the destination, 10am. Yes, 10am the following morning. A 12 hour non-stop, and for Entech, 630km trip.
An exciting conclusion to the evenings racing was on the cards as Entech experienced technical trouble with an hour and a half to go resulting in their kart having to go in for repairs. This gave Murway the opportunity to close the gap after they had experienced similar trouble earlier in then evening. With Murway just not being able to make up the deficit on the tight circuit 1st place was taken by Entech with them having completed 2030 laps in 12 hours, they were closely followed by Murway Motorsport with 2022 laps.
Congratulations to all those that took part and a big-up to Kenilworth Karting and their staff for putting together an awesome event.

10-08-01 DR1FT SQUAD (D1S) practice session
RESPECT, RESPECT, RESPECT. I stopped in at the D1S practice session yesterday to snap some of the action and ended up taking a ride with DJ Ready D in his drift spec Silvia. All I have to say is that I have a new found respect for drifters, damn it’s hard work. D, thanks for the experience. Hopefully it was the first of many. Check out the few photos I got in the gallery
10-08-01 Breakfast run with the boys
Sunday morning breakfast runs are good at the best of times but throw in an RX-7, 2 E36 M3’s, a Subaru wagon, a Mk4 GTiR and the obligatory Honda, a CRX in this case, you have what can only be described as a SPIRITED breakfast run. Thanks to everyone that made it an excellent day. Check out all the photos in the gallery
