The day started interestingly with 4 traffic cop vehicles obstructing the entrance to Killarney while the where having a “chat” to one of the competitors

Raceweb’s 2011 All Female Karting Team… recruiting soon

Raceweb are looking for females to join their Development B Team for the 2011 B League karting season at Kenilworth Karting. If you are greedy to race and eager to learn, and obviously female, then contact them. It is an awesome experience but you have to be dedicated as there are bigger things to come.

10-12-18 SOCSA (Subaru) Time Attack Track Day

I stopped in at Killarney for a short while to check out the SOCSA track day on Saturday. Although I didn’t stay too long (or get too many shots), I did manage to get to see a rare (in Cape Town) FD2 blasting around the track in a time of 1:27.8. The fastest official time of the day belonged to Malcolm (Redeyes) who managed to lap the 3.267km circuit a time 1:26.00 with his black Sti6. Apparently there are going to be more Time Attack track days next year, can’t wait 🙂

Top Gear’s back…

with a festive double bill starting tonight in the UK with an American road trip in three of the finest cars known to man: the Mercedes SLS AMG, Ferrari 458 Italia and Porsche GT3 RS. Then on the 26th of December the guys will be recreating the journey of the Three Wise Men from Iraq to Bethlehem and all points inbetween. Can’t wait…
